  Billet Blow-Off Valve System

The stock blow-off valve on GXP and RedLine is part of the turbocharger itself, and its capacity is very limited, especially on cars that have been modified for more performance and airflow.  This External Blow-Off Valve System features our new Adjustable Billet Blow-Off Valve and is a direct fit, with all needed components included.  With this system, you can now enjoy the benefits of an external blow-off valve’s greater flow capacity and adjustability.  As an additional bonus, you also lay the foundation for a turbocharger upgrade later, as larger upgrade turbochargers require an external valve.

Why does my car need more blow-off airflow?

The blow-off valve (also called Compressor Bypass Valve) on your car creates a relief circuit for turbocharger airflow anytime you suddenly close the throttle, such as during upshifts.  Without it, the airflow being produced by the turbo would dead-head against the closed throttle plate, dramatically decelerating the turbocharger and causing poor boost response when you then re-open the throttle in the next gear.  Your stock valve is a concession to economics of production and is very small; its location in the turbocharger itself also suffers from poor airflow.  A larger external valve will keep the turbo spooled up much better on upshift, and also reduce stress on the turbocharger itself.

Why should I use an adjustable valve?

Every driver has a slightly different shifting technique, and different levels of modifications also create different airflow levels for the blow-off valve to bypass.  With this system’s adjustability, you can fine-tune the valve’s performance to suit your own particular driving style and equipment combination.  You’ll see greatly improved upshift turbo response!  The system also provides a much more satisfying ‘whoosh’ than stock valves.

  • Lightning-fast shifts
  • Instant turbo response on upshift
  • Complete system for easy installation; includes all needed hardware
  • Engineered for optimal blow-off valve airflow performance
  • Compatible with both stock airbox/piping or aftermarket replacements
  • Silicone hose ducts to replace stock plastic and rubber parts
  • Billet Blow-Off valve features no diaphragm to wear out, instant response design
  • Accommodates upgrade turbos that require an external blow-off valve

Features a steel breather hose fitting:  Much stronger than the failure-prone plastic stock fitting!

H CB-2010:  Billet Blow-Off Valve System, GXP/RL:  Includes adjustable Billet Valve, silicone mounting hoses; also requires H CB-2000 if used with stock turbo;  $399.99

Stock Blow-Off Valve Delete Plate

This red-anodized plate replaces the stock blow-off valve and is CNC-machined from premium 6061 aluminum alloy.  It’s a great companion to the H CB-2010 Billet Blow-Off Valve System when it's used with a stock turbocharger.

H CB-2000:  BOV Delete Plate, GM 2.0 LNF:  Disables stock turbo blow-off valve; used with external blow-off valve systems; red-anodized CNC-machined 6061 alloy; $44.95
