MaxFlow Downpipe/Cat

 

This compact but high-flowing downpipe/catalytic converter replacement uses a superior technology metal matrix catalytic converter.  It’s light too: only 2/3 the weight of the stock part it replaces.  It’s a perfect match with a Hahn Tuned Header and/or Hahn 3” all-stainless exhaust, but it will also fit stock exhaust manifolds perfectly.

Bill Hahn’s done a fair amount of development in this area, and he chose 2 3/4" polished stainless steel tubing for this quality downpipe.  This choice maintains excellent velocity but has fabulous top end flow, optimizing both midrange as well as top RPM power.  When coupled with our Tuned Header and 3" CatBack Exhaust, you get a combo that's designed for the broadest possible power delivery, with a gradually stepped design that transitions from the 2.5" header outlet into the 2 3/4" downpipe, then to the 3" exhaust.  Maximum scavenging and velocity combined with outstanding flow design!

These assemblies are expertly RaceCrafted on precision fixtures, by skilled fabricators…no ill-fitting amateur attempts here!  For additional strength, a robust bellows flex section is used.  Guaranteed to fit like stock, yet flow considerably more!
