CoolRam Air
Intake

As we've proven, the stock airbox is no
slouch on these cars. It flows well, and it draws cool air from
the fender well. But is the best fix to employ five feet of pipe
and an air filter relocated into the fender well? Bill Hahn Jr.
thought not, and instead designed this system.
The aluminum air box is typical Hahn
artwork, drawing cool air from the stock cool air inlet, as well
as from the grille and headlight area. It seals to the bottom of
the hood to prevent warm under hood air from entering. The
CoolRam is unique in that it uses but half of the piping of
other 'cold air' units, which means less restriction. Not only
does it draw intake air from the fender well, but also from the
stock ram air scoop on the SRT-4 hood!
The inclusion of the stock hood's ram
air inlet is a bonus you can employ if you like, easily
integrated into the CoolRam system. We show you how in the
instructions included with CoolRam.
