Sunfire Heat is a cooperative effort between General Motors, Hahn
RaceCraft and Rick Bottom Custom Motorsports. GM provided a 2003
Pontiac Sunfire, with the request that HRC and RBCM modify the car
to showcase the best that the automotive aftermarket offers. The
vehicle was meant to showcase, performance, stylish looks and
street drivability. With 6 weeks to develop the car prior to the
SEMA Show, the challenge was on.
Rick Bottom Custom Motorsports was founded in
1996 to fill a need in the automotive aftermarket. Many companies
manufacture quality products however they do not have the means or
ability to produce a project vehicle their best advantage. RBCM
was began to build award winning Image Vehicles that have improved
performance, attention getting looks and practical drivability.
Their expertise lies in project vehicle design, planning,
coordination, execution and promotion. They provide companies with
vehicles for prototyping, and R & D feedback that is
invaluable.
RBCM has worked extensively with the Ford Motor
Co. and General Motors. They have provided Alcoa Wheel Products
with booth vehicles for the past seven years.
