Street-friendly too! This car runs
only unleaded fuel, which allows it to be catalytic converter
equipped and emissions legal.
This 2003
Sunfire starts with a standard Hahn Stage II turbosystem.
Designed to represent what an average enthusiast might achieve
affordably, it retains as many stock components as possible. A
mildly built engine and our innovative PortFueler system allow
it to produce 375 HP on unleaded fuel. The stock engine
computer and fuel injectors are retained, giving it stock
emissions along with wonderfully compliant street manners. Due
to its simple but very effective weight reduction, it achieves
even better fuel mileage than stock, as well as increased
acceleration performance, making it also an effective (and fun!)
commuter vehicle.

Hahn Racecraft's Cavalier Chassis FOR SALE
The chassis work was performed by TRZ Race Cars.
It's all TIG welded chromemoly, NHRA spec cage. The cage is tied
into the front and rear of the front shocktowers. The funnycar-style
cage is beautiful craftsmanship...I was way into this car while
I was building it, and I do not cut corners.
The wheelie bar (also by TRZ) is all business, all chrome moly.
The mounts are on the car for it already, top is tied into
rollcage, but you would have to cut the holes in the body panels
for the bar assembly to protrude through to meet the mounts..we
never finished that detail.
The aluminum racing seat is mounted, but no harness yet. The
fiberglass dash is not yet mounted. The aluminum console
supporting the shifter can be removed if you go manual trans.
Shifter is also optional.
The steering wheel is a quick-release hub for easy entry-exit.
Doors, hood, rear clip, decklid, front end, dash, and side
skirts are all fiberglass by GlassTek of Naperville, IL. Great
stuff, fits well, light as can be. All body panels were
professionally mounted by ProGlass in Yorkville, who also did
all the high-grade Lexan windows. Many Dzus fasteners, and extra
touches like the mini airfoils at the edges of the windshield to
keep wind from getting behind the front of the door edge at high
speed.
Excluding the company names, which are vinyl, all the graphics
are painted on. very nice work!
There is some fiberglass damage to the rear clip, We can email
you pictures. It will need to be repaired and repainted.
Also a small crack in the front end near bottom of air dam. Car
got loose once in the trailer and caused this mischief.
Other than that, its all brand new and very nice!
