Previously available only as an
integrated, one piece assembly with our Eliminator Downpipe, we
now offer the Eliminator 02 Housing for stock type turbos separately, or as a two-piece
Eliminator System with its matching downpipe! * The
Eliminator 02 Housing is the perfect replacement for that
restrictive, heavy stock housing. Now there is no need to
bother porting the stock housing, an expensive and tedious task.
Even a fully ported stock housing cannot compare to the airflow
achieved by the Eliminator! The Eliminator 02 housing also
helps control boost creep through its innovative wastegate port
design (see photo below). Fits all Mitsubishi 7cm2 and 8cm2
turbine housings (conventional and "big" 16G, Greddy
18G, Frank and others), Garrett T-25 (stock on 1995-1999 Talon and
Eclipse). For

Turbos click here.
Standard features include:
- Easy Installation: The
new and improved two-piece design (02 housing and downpipe
separate, unlike our earlier one piece design) enables a
less cumbersome installation.
- High Flow: The
Eliminator 02 Housing outflows the stock 02 housing by 100%!
With twice the airflow of the stock housing, the
Eliminator will never be outflowed by your future
modifications.
- Boost Creep Vastly
Improved: By increasing wastegate flow area
(see photo below), we have markedly improved wastegate
flow and pressure drop. This provides much greater
wastegate efficiency!
- Light Weight: Due to
its welded tubular construction, the Eliminator 02 Housing is
much lighter than cast iron housings. Its TIG
welds and stainless steel construction are more attractive as
well.
- Easy Servicing: With
the ability to remove the downpipe while leaving the 02
housing on the turbo, transmission removal and other
servicing is much easier than with our earlier one-piece
design.
- Versatility:
Eliminator 02 housings and downpipes are interchangeable, and
allow you to convert to different types of wastegate and
catalytic converter options when desired.
- 02 Sensor Port Included:
Just reinstall your 02 sensor into the threaded port provided.
- Excellent Clearance:
No oil filter relocation necessary.
The above cutaway view shows the
dramatic difference between a stock 02 housing and the Eliminator
02 housing. Note the difference in internal area: the
Eliminator has twice the airflow area of the stock unit!
Also look closely at the dark area inside each housing: this is
the wastegate port, where wastegate exhaust gases enter the main
exhaust portion of the 02 housing. You can see how the size
and contour of the Eliminator port is many times the size of the
stock unit. When combined with the lower pressures achieved
in the larger main exhaust portion of the Eliminator housing (as
compared to the smaller stock unit), the resultant improvement in
wastegate flow will reduce, and in many cases, eliminate boost
creep!

*: Due to their unique
configuration, HRC Eliminator 02 Housings may only be used with
HRC Eliminator downpipes (excluding Eliminator Jr.). If you
desire a downpipe to work with your stock 02 housing or an HRC
Super 16G or Super 20G turbocharger Eliminator 02 housing (or any
other type of housing that shares the stock housing outlet
position) you must instead use an Eliminator Jr. downpipe.
If you prefer, you may purchase a Weld-on Flange that matches the
Eliminator 02 housing and fabricate your own downpipe.
