Inlet Fitting, 12mm to –4 flare:
These
handy fittings allow you to use a standard -4
AN hose to supply oil to the turbo. Two different
types are available. Both have the correct metric
thread to install into your Mitsubishi turbocharger.

Oil
Feed Fitting:
We primarily use this fitting to supply oil to our turbo
oil line upgrade kit (see below). It has many other
uses. It screws into a port on the oil filter
housing on 1989-1994 Talon, Eclipse, Laser, Galant and
Lancer. Has the correct, impossible to find Metric
pipe thread. It allows you to attach a 7/16"
flare line or hose directly to the best oil pressure the
engine has to offer. |

Stainless
Oil Drain Pipes, straight and curved:
These
flanged pipes, when combined with ½" high
temperature hose (see below) make it easy to install a
Mitsubishi turbo. They fit all TDO5 and TDO6 series
turbos. Allows non-stock turbos and non-stock turbo
locations to be easily accommodated due to hose
flexibility. TIG welded from 304 stainless steel
components, they include a hose bead for secure, leak-free
connections. Can also be used with braided stainless
hose. See below for correct gasket. |

Stainless
Braided Oil Feed Line:
This
–4 braided stainless steel line features a 90 degree
–4 flare end and a 90 degree 7/16" flare end.
When used with our oil feed and oil inlet fittings, it
makes plumbing your new turbo easy. On 1995 to 1999
cars, it attaches directly to the stock turbo oil supply
fitting on the oil filter housing. For 1989 to 1994
cars, we recommend our Oil Line Upgrade (see below) that
includes this line and the fittings required for
installation. |

Drain Hose, high temperature:
This
blue silicone jacketed hose is an effective and easy way
to build your turbo oil drain. With a .500"
inside diameter, it works great with our Stainless Oil
Drain Pipes (see above). Withstands high heat while
maintaining flexibility. |

Oil
Port Plug, cylinder head: This
plug fits the turbo oil feed port in the cylinder head on
1989-1994 Factory Turbo Cars. It is usually employed
when upgrading the turbo oil feed. Uses copper sealing

Turbo
Oil Line Upgrade Kit, Factory Turbo Cars, 1989-1994:
In testing some years back, we discovered that the oil
pressure available to the turbo on 1989-1994 factory turbo
cars can be very inadequate, sometimes only a fraction of
the oil pressure available at the oil pump.
Examination of the turbo oil supply showed the problem:
the turbo oil feed was tapped off the end of the cylinder
head, as far away from the oil pump as possible.
Mitsubishi engineers also discovered this problem, as they
re-engineered the oil feed on 1995-1999 cars to draw turbo
oil directly from the oil pump housing. And that is
exactly what this kit does for your 1989-1994 car, for
greatly enhanced turbo durability.

This
laser-cut, .500" thick plate spaces the exhaust
manifold forward when employed between the manifold and
the head. Uses two exhaust manifold gaskets shown
above. This plate creates the extra clearance needed
to install larger turbos without interference with front
of engine block. See Super Turbo hardware section
for the longer studs you will heed to use this plate. |

Mounting

An
effective solution to using turbos larger the stock
turbine housing type. This mounting plate is tapped
for eight 3/8-16 studs: four to attach plate to factory
turbo exhaust manifold, four to attach turbo to plate (see
Super Turbo hardware section for correct studs). Affords
extra turbo clearance by lowering turbo .500" to move
it away from water pipe on engine front. |
